Under its rationalisation exercise, a US multinational company instructed its overseas offices to outsource all non-core activities like administration and accounts. The idea is to keep and manage only the key contributing functions like R&D, sales, marketing and manufacturing.

PayrollServe was appointed first to handle the employee claims processing function of the Singapore's office . This was later expanded to the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions.

PayrollServe has also been appointed by other MNCs to handle payroll processing, financial accounting and management reporting functions.

Local Company

The CFO of a service company with over 1000 employees observed his department's overheads increasing through the years without a corresponding increase in productivity. Worse, a culture of contentment had developed in the large administration and accounts department: there was a lack of strive towards improvement, better efficiency and productivity. The CFO was overwhelmed with the hassles of managing more costly staff who had begun to engage in office politics. There was a growing concern as to how he could better manage the Administration and Accounts outfit.

PayrollServe was brought in to relieve the company of the hassles and to provide a workforce that is truly dedicated and committed to delivering expected results. Even though the accounting and administration function was outsourced to PayrollServe, PayrollServe managed to retain some key performing staff into PayrollServe's team working for this client.
